Guestbook

We have just come back from a wonderful holiday in Devon, Honeysuckle Cottage was perfect for myself, my husband our daughter and our dog, Ruby.

The cottage is cosy, cute and homely, everything you could ask for. The personal touches of flowers, milk and biscuits was lovely. It is so clean, comfy sofa and chair, the shower is amazing, comfy beds! It is set in a beautiful courtyard area surrounded by other little cottages, it is so quiet, we loved it. After a busy day on the beach it was lovely to come back to the tranquility of the cottage.

I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone, it's perfect. Not far to drive into Woolacombe which we did everyday. We had a walk down into the village of West Down, what a pretty place it is, the community village shop is wonderful.

We will be back again hopefully in the near future.

Thank you so much..xx

Jayne Newsome,

My second stay at the lovely Honeysuckle Cottage, with my dog. Charming and cosy, with a great new bathroom with walk in shower. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms inviting. I slept really well here. Plenty of places to exercise your dog with lots of fantastic walks.
Would highly recommend and will return.

Linda Alexander,

I had another lovely stay at the cottage this summer, with my Mum and the kids. We had a few beach days, a trip on the steam train at Woody Bay, visited the cinema in Ifracombe and had a trip to the farm https://www.woolleyanimals.co.uk (which we would definitely recommend).
Thank you Lindsey and Mike X x

Leanne Lunau,

Had a very enjoyable relaxing week at the cottage which was attractive & comfortable with a lovely well equipped kitchen. Lovely views all round & so near to the tourist towns. Lots of walks from the cottage which gave a break from driving. Highly recommended.

Sue Parish,

Just spent a few days at Honeysuckle Cottage and had the best time. Lots of walking and cycling (the Tarka Trail is great for families) eating and drinking.
The cottage is fully equipped, homely and in a good location for the stunning North Devon beaches. Highly recommended.

KAREN WHALE,

Just come back from a lovely week in Devon staying at Honeysuckle Cottage. Really central to North Devon, lots to do nearby. The cottage is really cosy and has everything that you need to make your stay enjoyable. Thanks Lindsey and Mike

Nicky Clark,

We have just had a fab week at the cottage. It was the first week it opened in 2021 after the Covid lockdown. The cottage was very clean, warm, comfortable and well kitted out. I have never slept so well. The location is superb with quick access to many attractions. We worked the kitchen facilities hard as you cant eat indoors at pubs and restaurants.
For walkers that can cope with gradients, do coastal path walks from Mortahoe around Mount Point and Combe Martin to Lower Hangman.
Woolacombe beach is worth the £8 parking. Village pub currently only open at weekends.
Use Hillsborough Car Park in Ilfracombe. to visit Verity and harbour. 40p/ hour ! Most car parks are around £1.10 per hour.
Croyde was a good day out. There is a coastal walk from the free National Trust car park at the West end of Ilfracombe. Only use it if you are ok driving on narrow steep roads with turns. I would go again to see what the inside of the pubs and restaurants look like. Dont hesitate to book this.
