Circular Mortehoe walk via Rockham Beach, Bull Point, Bennett’s Mouth, Kinevor Valley. Places to eat - The Chichester Pub, Miss Fea’s, Seabreeze Cafe. See Circular Walk From Mortehoe via Rockham Beach, Bull Point, Bennett’s Mouth and Kinevor Valley - Honeysuckle Cottage North Devon . 5km

Mortehoe to Lee Bay via Rockham Beach, Bull Point, Bennett’s Mouth , Sandy Cove and onto Lee Bay. The Grampus Pub does lovely food or grab a cuppa at the old school house. This walk starts the same as the circular walk above. 4km

Woolacombe  (or Mortehoe for slightly shorter walk) to Ilfracombe via Morte Point (look out for seals on the rocks), Rockham Beach, Bull Point, Bennett’s Mouth, Sandy Cove, Lee Bay, Ilfracombe Torrs, Ilfracombe. Stop at the Grampus or old school house for  a refreshment. Plenty of places to eat or drink in Ilfracombe. The Pier Brewery Tap and Grill at the Harbour is popular. Either taxi or bus back to Woolacombe or Dean Cross for Honeysuckle Cottage. 13km

Ilfracombe Harbour to Combe Martin via Hele Bay, Samson’s Bay, Widmouth Head, Watermouth, Sandy Bay. Pub at Hele Bay for a refreshment after the challenging steep climb out of Ilfracombe. 7km

 Circular walk to Baggy Point, Croyde.  Park at the NT car park and climb the hill, follow the higher path to Baggy Point, return via the lower path. For an easier walk walk both ways on the lower path. Most of it pushchair accessible. Stop at the surf cafe or NT cafe near the car park for a refreshment. 3 km

Heddon Valley to Heddon’s Mouth. Park at the NT car park and follow the footpath on the left side of the river to Heddon’s Mouth, return by crossing the bridge and following the river on the other side. Wooden playground at the end with wood carvings and a fabulous pub - Hunters Inn. Fairly flat shortish walk.3km

Honeysuckle Cottage to Woolacombe. Turn left out of the car park, follow the road to West Down, take a right into Deans Lane. Cross the main road at the end into Bradwell Road to Willingcott Cross. Turn left at the end of the road to Ivycott Farm. On the right is a footpath, take this which leads over the hill to Woolacombe. You can either continue to Woolacombe or follow the footpath across Woolacombe Down where at the top you can see over to Croyde Bay. Spoilt for places to eat or drink - there’s Putsborough cafe or The Porthole if you do the longer walk or many places in Woolacombe. 8km

Honeysuckle Cottage to Ilfracombe. This walk starts the same as the above. Once you get to Willingcott Cross, cross the road and take the footpath/cycle way along the old disused railway line. For a shorter walk start at the Fortescue Arms by getting the bus or go to Lee Cross for parking. Folllow the footpath all the way into Ilfracombe passing the two reservoirs and nature reserve, perfect walk for a dampish day as all on a hard surface. Good also for cycling and pushchairs. 12 km or 8 km for shorter route.

Honeysuckle Cottage around West Down. Turn left from the car park and follow the road towards West Down, on the left just before the turning for Dean Lane take the track which leads into the playing fields. Cross the fields to the stream and follow the footpath over the hill. Continue on the footpath until Aylrescott Lane and then turn right onto the road. Take the footpath on the right further down the road passing Easter Ground Cottage and into the village of West Down. Follow the road back to the cottage. Note, we haven’t done all of this walk so please if anyone tries it we would appreciate some feedback. 4km

Croyde circular walk via Saunton Sands. We did this walk but got a bit lost getting out of Croyde. Here’s the route Croyde & Saunton Down - Walk - South West Coast Path.  There’s the cafe at Saunton Sands for a stop before continuing back to Croyde via the coastal path. 7km from Croyde, further from NT car park.
